Digital Switchover
Project completed
COVER, on behalf of Digital Outreach Ltd.has now come to the end of their involvement with the Digital Switchover which ran from September 2010 to April 2012.
This project involved working with CSOs to help deliver this project, by holding events and presentations; and giving advice on how to switch over to digital TV across the Anglia and London TV region. Local charities applied through a small grants scheme to help them set up and encourage these events, and we provided them with the necessary materials and advice. Thousands of people benefited from these events at a range of coffee mornings and lunch clubs through to community meetings and exhibitions.
We worked with a number of organisations across the region who worked with or supported the following:
- Older people
- People who have sensory, mobility and/or dexterity impairments
- People who have learning disabilities
- People who have experienced mental health conditions
- People who do not have English as a first language
