BBC First Click

The BBC First Click campaign encourages and supports people aged 55 and over, who currently do not use the internet, to understand and enjoy its benefits. i-TRUST delivers the training for this campaign in the East of England and can also provide you with the resources to run your own training.

The project aims to improve media literacy and confidence so that you can understand and use different types of media, such as computers, mobile phones and digital TV effectively. i-TRUST runs the First Click Beginner's Computer Course to take participants through the first and essential steps of using computers and show them how easy it is to use the internet to stay in touch with family and friends, find useful information and save money.

i-TRUST can also provide you with a First Click Course Leaders Guide to give you ideas and advice to plan and promote the course, as well as a series of sessions featuring everything you need to read, say and do to run the course. Each session includes clear aims and learning outcomes and a step by step format with links to practice activities. How you deliver the course is completely up to you.
